Happy New Year, 2019!
I hope you were able to celebrate with friends and family. I wanted to let you know one more time from my wife and children how grateful we are for your support in 2018.
With your help we were able to collect 30,000 signatures from every corner of this city and, by filing on the first day, were able to appear FIRST on the ballot for mayor.
But that was last year. Now it’s 2019 and we’re about to enter the stretch run before the Feb. 26th election. I know you’ve given so much already but we will need even more help in the coming weeks in our campaign to make Chicago safer, more affordable and where students have access to quality education.
Stay tuned in the coming days for new campaign communications, more opportunities to get involved and the roll out of policies that will set our campaign apart in this crowded field.
But for now, get some rest and look forward to the hope and opportunity that 2019 offers us.
Talk to you soon!
